In Geography class we have all marveled at the beauty of our blue planet, and been awed by the fact that our Earth is 70% water. If it is, like the proverb goes – “water, water everywhere” – isn’t it time we make friends with it?
Our friendship will teach us to love it, respect it and cherish it in all its forms – whether it’s a pool, a pond, a river or the sea. So this World Environment Day, let us commit to stop water pollution, and Say Yes to Swimming!
